Overview

Abdö Fios Vrët was founded durring the early 17th century in early spring of the year 1614, by Danie Berdra. The establishment of Abdö Fios Vrët was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Danie Berdra electing to pay people to resettle in Abdö Fios Vrët.

Abdö Fios Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Abdö Fios Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Abdö Fios Vrët is buildings folow an organic layout of crampt flagstone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. Abdö Fios Vrët's bare minimum defences has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Right off the bat Abdö Fios Vrët hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

History

Abdö Fios Vrët is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Kami ended a drought plaguing Abdö Fios Vrët. One of Abdö Fios Vrët's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
